Employee Health Risk Assessments

Since each employee group is unique, a wellness program must be custom-designed for each employer in order for it to truly be successful. Employee Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) are a valuable, cost-effective tool for clients to help create a personalized wellness program for employers that will reduce healthcare costs and improve the well-being of employees.

By choosing EMSI's HRA, clients have an affordable, comprehensive measurement tool that can help determine which health conditions need special focus. Our seven-page written assessment gathers information on family health history, daily activity, nutritional habits and exercise regime. We also gather information on biometric measurements, blood pressure, basic blood profile and cholesterol for each employee.

Based on the information gathered through the questionnaires and health screenings, we produce a customized 20-page Personal Wellness Profile Report for each employee. This report identifies the health risks and lifestyle practices that determine overall personal well-being, and recommends lifestyle changes and good health practices for employees' optimal health. For employees with critical health concerns, a doctor will call them personally to discuss their conditions and encourage them to see their regular doctor as soon as possible.

For the employer, we put the data from the HRAs into valuable summary reports that reveal the unique health risks of their employee population. These reports help employers plan educational programs targeting specific health conditions, track changes in employee health status, monitor utilization of existing wellness services and determine cost justification or modification of the wellness program.
